Roku remote app for iPhone and Android

EveryRemote works with Roku TVs (TCL, Hisense, Sharp, onn. and more) and Roku streamers like the Express, Streaming Stick and Ultra. No ads and no account.

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

How to set it up

  1. Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as your Roku, and turn it on.
  2. Open EveryRemote and tap your Roku in the list.
  3. Newer Roku software ignores phone apps until you change one setting. On your Roku remote, press Home, then go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Control by mobile apps.
  4. Open Network access and choose Permissive. (On some versions the choices are Limited, Enabled and Permissive: choose Permissive.) EveryRemote walks you through this when it's needed.

Good to know

  • On a Roku TV, turn on Settings > System > Power > Fast TV Start so the phone can turn the TV on.
  • Streaming sticks can only turn the TV on and off if the TV supports HDMI-CEC.
