Control your parent's TV from your own phone, from anywhere

"The TV's broken again." With EveryRemote's family help, you open the app on your phone and fix it, from across town or across the world. No box to install and no monthly membership.

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

How to set it up

  1. Your parent installs EveryRemote on their Android phone and taps Invite someone (or Ask family to set this up on the welcome screen).
  2. They send you the link, by WhatsApp, text or email.
  3. You tap the link, and they tap Allow. Their TVs appear on your phone.
  4. Press buttons on their TV as if you were there, or connect their TV, Roku and air conditioner for them, one by one, while their phone tells them in big plain words when to press something.

Good to know

  • Show photos and videos from your phone on their TV, or open a YouTube link for them.
  • Pair it with Easy mode on their phone: big buttons with words, and a PIN so it can't be changed by accident.
  • Everything is end-to-end encrypted with a key that only travels inside the invite link. Your parent can remove you at any time.

Questions people ask

Does my parent need to do anything?

Only once: install the app, send you the invite and tap Allow. After that, you do the work.

What does it need at their home?

An Android phone with EveryRemote on the same Wi-Fi as their TV. iPhone support for the phone being helped is planned.

Is it free?

It's free on your parent's phone. On your phone (the helper), family help is part of Pro, a one-time purchase.

Do I need to buy a box or pay monthly?

No. Their phone does the work, so there's no hardware hub and no membership.
